beth & derek - march 10, 2008

beth and derek were married at the saint paul union depot. beth said that when she was in high school she went went there for prom and knew right away that this was the place where she wanted to be married. who can blame her? the architecture is absolutely stunning and the staff there really knows how to host a spectacular event. i have really enjoyed getting to know beth and derek and their fun personalities and they make an adorable couple. this is an outtake from some more formal pictures, but it is one of my favorites. i think it sums up how cute they are and how much fun they have together:

in yet another fun touch, beth and derek rented a booth from the traveling photobooth for their guestbook. it was a huge hit. here they are striking a pose:

lastly, here is a close-up of their cake topper, which is of the train depot where derek proposed to beth. in the speeches, it was mentioned that a depot is a place from where people begin their journeys. thank you for letting me be a part of your wedding day as you embark on your many happy journeys together.
